Do I need to be a member of NACS to attend CAMEX?

No. Member and non-member registrations for licensed retail stores are available. A copy of your store’s retail sales license or retail tax certificate must be submitted upon request.

What are Pathways, and do I need to register for one?

Designed to make your time at CAMEX even more productive, new curated Pathways will focus on the topics most critical to you. Explore each Pathway, and then select the track best suited for you to follow via CAMEX online registration. You can see time planned for Pathway sessions via the CAMEX 2019 schedule.

What are Virtual Primers, and do they require additional registration?

Pathways will kick off with Virtual Primers (webinar programs)—two for each Pathway—to be held Feb. 5-8. You will automatically be registered for the Virtual Primers for your Pathway when you select your Pathway during CAMEX registration. Additionally, you may attend the Virtual Primers for other Pathways as you like—more than doubling the CAMEX content you can get for your registration compared to past years.

Hotel and Travel Questions

Which hotels are being used for CAMEX?

Three top-rated hotels are within comfortable walking distance of the Henry B. González Convention Center: Grand Hyatt San Antonio, Marriott Rivercenter, and Marriott Riverwalk. More hotels may be added at a later date. Experient is the official CAMEX housing company. Do not be misled by emails from other sources claiming to represent CAMEX.

Why did I receive an email/phone call from a company representing CAMEX and offering lower rates than posted for the CAMEX hotels?

There is only one official CAMEX housing company – Experient. Do not be misled by “pirate” housing companies under any other name. NACS is unable to assist if you book your hotel and make payments through a company other than our housing company, Experient.

Does NACS/CAMEX provide shuttles to and from the airport?

NACS/CAMEX does not provide shuttle service from the airport. Check at the airport for ground transportation. Visit our Travel page for discounts and information.
