As the largest and best-attended trade show in the campus retailing industry, we strive to make CAMEX the best event for both our attendees and exhibitors. We wanted to let you know of two exciting changes for next year's Campus Market Expo:

CAMEX 2018 Product Category Areas on the Trade Show Floor

In an effort to make the most of attendees' time at CAMEX, help them efficiently navigate the categories they purchase, and allow them to schedule more appointments with exhibitors, we're segmenting the show floor by product category for 2018. Attendees have been asking for this change and we're thrilled to make this part of CAMEX 2018.

You'll indicate your company's principal or primary product category on your exhibit application. See below for the product groupings with sub-categories.

CAMEX 2018 Online Booth Space Draw

An online booth space draw was a part of CAMEX 2018 first round space draw, making it easier for exhibitors to see available booth space and check where other exhibitors/competitors had already been assigned space. Exhibitors selected their desired location in real-time.

Application and deposit were due April 24 to be included in the first round space draw. NACS staff contacted exhibitors who submitted their application and deposit by the deadline and set booth space appointments in order of priority point. In cases where exhibitors had the same number of priority points, the tie breaker was determined by time/date the application and payment were received.


Business Partner Membership

All exhibitors must be NACS Business Partner Members in good standing. Annual dues for business partner (company) membership are only $495 plus a one-time application fee of $250, so the total amount for your first year is just $745.

NACS Membership and CAMEX Guidelines for Vendor Companies

If you are interested in exhibiting at CAMEX 2018, contact the CAMEX Show Office for exhibit booth space availability.

If a NACS Membership Application was not completed and/or processed for CAMEX 2018 prior to February 26, 2018:

Complete a Business Partner Application online or download an application and provide to membership staff in the NACS Member Services booth, Level 1 Lobby of the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center Dallas, TX no later than noon on Saturday, March 3, 2018.

To ensure your application can be processed, please confirm:

  • all fields, including reference information, are completed.
  • payment/dues for the Business Partner Membership are submitted ($495).
  • contact information and/or business card are included.

NOTE: Applications submitted online or on-site from March 1 through noon on March 3 may take up to four hours to process from the time the application is received.

  • You will be contacted once the membership application has been “pre-approved.”
    • CAMEX options:
    • If you are registering as an Exhibitor for CAMEX 2018, go to Registration, Level 1 Lobby, where Membership staff and NACS exhibit staff will meet you to:
      • process Business Partner Membership dues fee ($495)
      • facilitate completion of CAMEX 2018 Booth Application, booth location, and booth payment.
    • If you are registering as a Non-exhibiting Business Partner to view CAMEX 2018, go to Registration, Level 1 Lobby, where Membership staff will meet you to:
      • process Business Partner Membership dues fee ($495)
      • direct you to the line to facilitate the registration payment ($650 per person)
    • Participate in the Prospect Exhibitor Walk Through (as a member or non-member). There is no fee, however this is only offered on Monday, March 5, 2018 from 3-5:00 pm. Please visit the link to register.
  • After CAMEX 2018, your application will be reviewed by the NACS Membership and Bylaw Committee for formal approval, and you will be contacted within two business weeks about the outcome.

Booth Fees

After April 24, , booth fees are $2,675 per 10'x10' booth. Corner fees are $400 per corner.

Included in Your Booth Fee

8' back drape, 3' side drape for inline booths*, booth carpeting (if checked on the exhibit application), booth vacuuming the evening prior to show opening, a booth identification sign, plus five exhibit badges per 10'x10' booth, up to a maximum of 40 badges per exhibitor. Additional badges may be purchased at Registration. Your CAMEX exhibitor directory and show special listings are included free of charge provided information is submitted by deadline dates. Exhibitors are welcome and encouraged to attend educational sessions and Special Events. Tickets for Special Events may be purchased at Registration.

Booth Assignment Process

After April 24, booths will be assigned on a date-received basis without regard to priority points. Applications and 20% deposit received by April 24, were included in the first round of booth assignments. Assignments were made based on priority points (one point for each year of exhibiting) and then by date the application and payment were received. Companies that wish to exhibit side-by-side must submit their applications together with an explanatory letter. The priority points of both companies will be averaged to determine their position in the placement process. After April 24, booths will be assigned on a date-received basis without regard to priority points.

A copy of the application and contract will be returned with booth assignment and authorized signature. This contract is subject to the general rules, regulations, and policies governing the CAMEX trade show.


Full payment must accompany exhibit applications received after July 31, . Contracts submitted without proper paperwork, payment, or authorized signature will be rejected. If space is not fully paid for by Aug. 1, space is subject to cancellation or reassignment at the discretion of NACS Management.

Course Materials Pavilion

The Course Materials Pavilion is a focused space for publishers/course content providers and related course materials technology and other services providers. To be part of this highly anticipated area for course materials and digital strategy needs, check the Course Materials Pavilion box on the exhibit application.

Online Digital Booth Listing

A Standard listing comes with your booth fee and includes: Company name, booth number and address, one contact name, phone and fax numbers, link to company web site, 30-word company description, listing of up to 6 product categories, and your show special listing; limit 30 words.

Online Premium Booth Upgrade

A Online Premium Booth Upgrade includes all items in the standard listing plus sponsorship logo on all Daily Planner pages and at the top of the Floor Plan page, Highlighted Entry in the Online Exhibitor List, access to details of attendee product category matches, four additional product categories (total of 10) and three additional press releases (total of four) for only $500. Bring a Buyer to CAMEX!

NACS Foundation’s Bring a Buyer to CAMEX program provides grants to cover the full registration fee and housing expenses for buyers to attend CAMEX. Your company will receive recognition in the CAMEX program, at the NACS/NACS Foundation CAMEX trade show booths, at CAMEX Keynote Sessions, on special signage provided for your booth, in the NACS Foundation e-newsletter and website, and through the NACS Foundation CAMEX promotional materials. Just check the box on the exhibit application to support this important effort to bring even more buyers to CAMEX!


All cancellations must be received in writing addressed to NACS Expositions Department/CAMEX , 500 E. Lorain St., Oberlin, OH 44074 or via email: expositions@nacs.org. If cancellation request is received on or before Aug. 1, , the exhibitor will receive an 80% refund of total booth fee. If cancellation is received from Aug. 2 to Nov. 30, , the exhibitor will receive a 50% refund of total booth fee. No refunds will be given on cancellations made after Nov. 30, . Refunds due to exhibitors will be paid within 45 days of receipt of written cancellation request.
